osmep_sss_logoInternational trade competition is currently rising to levels once undreamed of as the development of numerous economies has greatly become progressive and advanced in the technological, innovative and marketing dimension of both industrial and agricultural sectors.

While Thailand does not stay passive to global the small and medium sized enterprises have immensely contributed to the country’s economic development as they are the resources of job creation and revenue distribution for people in general.

Moreover, they are the driving force behind the globalization of Thai products which are competitive on international marketplaces and hence world widely recognized so much that they are considered another dimension in the promotion of Thai economics.

For that reason, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion has been assigned a mission to develop the enterprises of small and medium sized to become more and more stronger in consistency with the national policy, especially, the strategy on national economic restructuring.

In this regard, the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion acts as the focal agency in formulating action plans which competently coordinate and integrate a variety of projects with focus at the building of entrepreneur society and SMEs strength, and the upgrading of product in each and every region via the model of cluster developing.

Through this paradigm, knowledge, understanding and realization, as well as cooperation networks, will be created so as to incite the SMEs to recognize the importance and necessity of the collaboration for the building of cluster competitiveness.

I am confident that the cooperation between relevant agencies will help SMEs develop and increase growth capability with sustainability, and become competitive domestically and internationally in order to perform as the major economic drive for the country’s advancement.

 

The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion is appreciative with the coordination of the alliance from both public and private sectors in collectively push forward successfully various projects for SMEs entrepreneurs until they can abundantly access different resources of knowledge.
